Our tour of the ground floor ends with a trip to the “bar” …

There is a modern shower-room and two generous sized bedrooms.

This house was built 5 years ago and has its own septic tank and electric heating.

Outbuildings

The property includes two vast barns, with the benefit of having had completely new roofs in the last couple of years. 

The first barn was probably used for cattle and has a full height first floor which can be accessed via an outdoor staircase. On the ground floor, there are traces of the original stalls and a cold room. The building has electrical wiring. 

The second barn has been used as an events space, with Art workshops by the current owners. The building is also wired, with grand double doors, and offers a fantastic space for a separate project. 

The Lake

The lake was created by the current owners and filled entirely with rainwater. It measures approximately 1.2 hectares, with a small island in the middle. The current owners use the water to irrigate the gardens when needed.
