Overview

This old stone property sits in the heart of Lectoure, just minutes on foot from the many shops, restaurants and eclectic boutiques for which the town is so well-known.

The ground floor

The attractive wooden front-door provides a characterful entrance into a main central hallway. The doorway is typical of some of the lovely old arched doorways found in the town and has a decidedly romantic appeal.

The kitchen sits to the right of the hallway and overlooks the street.

At the far end of the hallway on the ground floor, a second room provides an area for storage – and also houses the oil tank.  There is a WC in the space under the stairs.

The first floor

The original wooden staircase takes us to the first floor landing.

Upstairs there is a good sized double bedroom, and a shower room. There is also a second room on this level with a pretty terra cotta floor.

The second floor

On the second floor, accessible via a wooden staircase, there is a vast room – an ideal top floor bedroom, a smaller room which would provide a good dressing-room, and a WC.

    Our thoughts here at Bliss

This property is in habitable condition but would benefit from redesign and decorating.

There is plenty of scope to make the inside as delightful as the entrance to this period home.

Although there is no outdoor space, its central location in Lectoure provides an ideal bolthole as a holiday home. Alternatively the property is ideal for rentals in town or a main residence for anyone preferring an apartment style lifestyle with easy maintenance.
