Where are we?

This well maintained property is just a stone’s throw away from the centre of a thriving village with full amenities.  The property is situated in a quiet area, with easy access on foot to the baker’s, the local café, and supermarket. We enter the front door into a central hallway which leads to the kitchen and the living room on the left, the bedrooms and bathroom on the right.

The kitchen

To the left of the main entrance, a door opens into the kitchen. The owner of the property tells us that she loves her kitchen, as it is such a practical workspace, and being so light and airy, with doors leading out to the covered terrace, and a wood burner in the corner, this is definitely a well used room.

The reception room

A doorway leads from the kitchen directly into the main sitting-room. This is another light-filled room with large French windows which allow sunlight  to flood in all day long. There is an open fireplace which would make the room very cosy in the winter.

The three bedrooms and shower-room

To the right of the main entrance, along the corridor, there are three double bedrooms which share a modern shower-room.

The garage/workshop

At the far end of the corridor, the door leads into the garage part of which doubles as a utility room.  Behind the garage is a very useful workshop.

The exterior

The enclosed garden provides lots of interesting areas in which to enjoy the sun, to have some quiet reading time, to grow your own vegestables, and has the perfect place to dine with family and friends under a covered terrace; there are so many ways to enjoy this easily maintained garden.

    This is a rare gem for those looking to be in a lively village, with a good sized garden. It is perfect as a full-time residence as every room is spacious. Retirees may appreciate the one-level living accommodation, which is surprisingly hard to find with shops on foot and at such an interesting price.  Home seekers in search of a low maintenance holiday home will also appreciate the many benefits of this property.

    We love the light and airy feel of the property and the garden which is really a wonderful extra outdoor summer living room, with plenty of shade provided on the covered terrace.  The house has been beautifully looked after by the current owners, and the contemporary feel adds to its charm and practicality.
