This lovely stone property is in many ways typical of the south-west: it has exposed stone walls, a huge stone fireplace and lovely beams in the living room, with attractive wooden floors upstairs. It also has an annex, which was probably once a separate house but now serves as a garage and furnace room, with a guest suite above.<\/p>\n

The front of the house has been repointed and is in excellent condition, in fact as we enter the front door it is clear that the entire house has been beautifully renovated.<\/p>\n

The front hall, with its traditional black and white patterned flooring and classic wooden staircase, is open to the front and the back of the house, and the garden can be seen through the glass door at the end of the hall.<\/p>\n

On the left of the entrance hall is the living room, just the kind of cosy, beautifully authentic living area one would wish to find in the countryside.<\/p>\n

The focus of the room is the huge stone fireplace, which is often lit on winter days, with large cupboards on one side and exposed stonework on the other. The warm wooden flooring and white-painted beams on the ceiling add to the charm of this room.<\/p>\n

\nUpstairs, there is a newly renovated bedroom and adjoining shower room, where guests can enjoy an entirely private space.<\/p>\n

Gardens<\/h2>\n

This property has a much larger garden than most of its neighbours, as well as a spacious terrace. The current owners have installed a small wading pool for the grandchildren in one corner of the terrace; there is also a paved area where they eat outside most days in the warmer months. A large grassy area plays host to plenty of well-established shrubs and flowers.<\/p>\n
