In the heart of a picturesque Gascon village, only 5km from the nearest amenities, this large stone house, which was originally two houses, enjoys a garden to the front and side of it, and a courtyard and terrace to the south.
Downstairs
The front door opens on to an entrance hall which leads off to a ground floor bedroom and bathroom before arriving into the welcoming fitted kitchen which its fireplace and log burner.
This is a spacious, light filled room which overlooks both the garden and the courtyard.
From the kitchen, we move through to the living/dining rooms. Again they are light-filled and have access directly out to both the garden and the courtyard.
Beyond these, there is a utility area and another room which could be used as another ground floor bedroom or even turned into a separate gîte/studio for friends or an independent teenager as the previous owners did!
Upstairs
Taking the stairs up from the kitchen, we find three good-sized bedrooms, two of which have dressing rooms. The main bedroom has a door leading out to the lovely stone staircase going down to the garden, another has access out on to the south facing terrace and its views across the edge of the village and the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms share two bathrooms with WC.

The garage is hidden away underneath the living room.
What would I do to this property if it were mine?
I would create an independent studio/maison d’amis on the ground floor, and I would brighten up the front ground floor bedroom, otherwise the house is in good overall condition with lovely outdoor space.
